Magnetic induction: When a magnetic material (for example a piece of iron) is placed in a magnetic field, it is observed that it has become a temporary magnet. The process by which a magnetic material becomes a magnet is called magnetic induction. It is the action by which magnetic polarity is developed in a body susceptible to magnetic effects when brought under the influence of a magnet.

It is the procedure by which an object or substance is magnetized by an external magnetic field. It is the procedure by which a material, such as iron or steel, becomes magnetized by a magnetic field. The induced magnetism is produced by the force of the field radiating from the poles of a magnet. It is a procedure by which a material becomes magnetized by an external magnetic field. It is a vector quantity used as a determination of a magnetic field.

Magnetic induction has found many applications in technology, as well as an electrical machine such as inductors and transformers, and devices such as electric motors and generators. It is the power in a magnet of imparting its qualities to certain other materials. It is in the division due to the action of the surrounding particles of polarized substance; in part to the magnetic field.
