Friendship

Friendship is a bond that is built carefully and treasured fiercely. A cordial relation between two people is called friendship. It is a bond that you would not let go easily; you will defend it at all costs.  It is a strong bond of mind. It takes time to nurture a friendship. It is a social virtue.  A real friend is better than wealth. It is cultivated with much love and care over time. It is a great blessing in a man’s life. A true friend always stands by his friend in weal and woe. There is a great deal that goes into building and keeping a friendship. He does not play false with his friend.

But it’s very difficult to find a good real friend. Most of the friendship is a hypocrite. Where there is no love but only greed and selfishness there is no friendship at all. Most of their friends are summer birds. We have many friends but a few on them can be called good ones who stand by us in our weal and woe. They come to us in a good time and leave us in our evil days. A friend is one who will sacrifice anything for you and yet not feel it a sacrifice at all, for there are love and concern for the other in a true friendship. Friendship should be established on the basis of similar tastes, feelings, and ideology. When there is love in a friendship it can last a lifetime. Anyway, it is not easy to make friends and keep it. Without friendship, there would be no life.

It requires faith, honesty, sacrifice, and good understanding to maintain a good friendship. It should be grown out of sincere love and respect for each other. A true friend is one who will share in your joys and in your troubles. In making friendship we must keep aloof from false friends who leave us in times of adversity. It is heart-warming and comforting to have a real friend. Boyhood and youth are the best periods for making friendship. If your friends are good, your character will be good. It has a great impact on our life and character. But if your friends are not good, your character will not be good.

A good friend makes us happy. A friend is one who shares with you with no expectations. On the contrary, a bad friend leads us to hell. There is no quid pro quo in such a friendship. A man is known by the company he keeps, is a wise saying. Friendship gives true happiness because when you have a real friend you have all their love. So we should avoid the company of false and evil friends.
