QS Study

All reactants and products in the reaction have the same phase at equilibrium called homogeneous equilibrium. Homogeneous equilibrium refers to a state of equilibrium in which all participants are of the same phase.

For example, 2SO2 (g) + O2 (g) ↔ 2SO3 (g)

The usual examples include reactions where everything is a gas, or everything is present in the same solution.
