Company secretary is the executive officer in administering office functions. He performs his administrative functions under the authority of the board. In performing his administrative functions, he should be kind to his subordinates. He should also take necessary steps for their training and promotion.
Duties as an executive:
Company secretary is a high-ranked administrative officer of the company. Usually the share department, correspondence department, filing and record department, taxation department, accounts department, human resource department etc. are directly run under his supervision. Therefore, he should ensure the proper supervision, coordination and control of these departments.
