Selection may be defined as the process of choosing the best one from among the number of candidates. It is the procedure of choosing the most appropriate applicant for the empty place in the organization. Recruitment is a process of accumulation of human resources for the vacant positions of the organization. It is an initial step of the system. It helps to increase the success rate of the selection process by reducing the number of visibly under qualified or overqualified job applicants.
