What do you mean by Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Aromaticity?

Benzene, benzene derivatives and specialized ring-shaped unsaturated organic compounds are called aromatic compounds. Aromatic compounds have some special characteristics, which are called Aromaticity. They are also called aromatic compounds, are compounds that contain benzene as a part of their structure. Benzene is a cyclic hydrocarbon with the formula C6H6.

Example: Benzene is the archetypal aromatic compound.
