Flammable chemicals are material goods of a material relating how easily the material ignites or sustains a burning reaction.

Example of flammable chemicals —Acetic acid, acetone, ether (diethyl ether) etc.


Bad effects of those flammable chemicals:

Acetic acid: It is corrosive; extremely flammable those vapour make great injury.

Acetone: Extremely flammable, inhalations with volatile substance and touching with skin cause great harm.

Ether: Extremely flammable and volatile vapour make senseless. It forms explosive peroxide when it is kept in open light.

How to use in laboratory: Laboratory is an important place where the experiments are done for the development of human beings. Different chemicals are used in the laboratory in each experiment. Among these, some are poisonous, explosive, flammable etc. To carry out the experiment without any accident we have to ensure the environment of laboratory, to be better. The position of the laboratory should be in a better open place, where enough light & air are available. For this reason enough doors and windows are required so that the normal condition is found in the laboratory.
