Types of Cells

On the basis of the presence or absence of the distinct nucleus, the cell is of two types.

(i) Prokaryotic Cell and

(ii) Eukaryotic Cell

On the basis of physiological activities and the process of division, the cell can be divided into two types, such as-

(i)Somatic cell and

ii) Reproductive cell or gamete.
